Each month we will be building on techniques to make bags.
August: Lola from Swoon (There are no kits this month, there were lots of varied fabric choices!)
September: Home Front Bags by: Charlie's Aunt We've done this bag in a beautiful wool to get ready for fall. Kits with wool fabric are available for purchase, and include the pattern this month (buttons, O ring and closure are not included)... *bonus* Class is FREE for September if you purchase the kit with the wool fabric! (Applies only to regularly scheduled bag of the month class time.)
Kits will be available for purchase at Stitch each month with all of the needed fabric, and findings. Interfacing will not be included. They will be the same fabrics as the sample bags in store and shown online.
Please come to class with all of your pieces cut and fused according to the pattern directions. If you need help cutting and fusing, please call Ashley to arrange time before class to cut out and fuse your pieces. Some steps ask that you not fuse specific interfacing until after you complete a previous step, irons will be available for use or you can pack your own and a pressing pad.
